Marlborough Man Arrested on Default Warrant in Sudbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Sept. 21 resulted in the arrest of a Marlborough resident.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, an officer on patrol on Boston Post Road pulled over a motorist just before 6 p.m.

After the officer completed an investigation, Robert James Paquette, 19, of 53 Wagonhill Road, was arrested for having a default warrant.

Grady said the warrant was for an assault and battery charge from Cambridge District Court.

Paquette was held over the weekend and transported to Framingham District Court on Sept. 23 for his arraignment.

In other police news from Sept. 21:

  • Officers responded to a one-car accident on Dudley Road. Grady said the motorist drove off the road and struck a utility pole. The car was towed. The driver was not injured and no citations had been issued as of Sept. 23.
  • A Boston Post Road resident reported the theft of $1,000 worth of personal items. Sudbury detectives are investigating the case.
