Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck by Car

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

An accident on Lincoln Road Monday morning sent one person to the hospital, Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady said.

At about 7:53 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a motorist.

That person was transported to Emerson Hospital with minor injuries, Grady said.

The driver of the car was not hurt, and no citations had been given out as of Tuesday morning.

  • A Dutton Road resident reported cash was stolen from his home. Police are investigating.
  • A person on Boston Post Road contacted police after hearing a knocking sound coming from a car next to hers. Grady said the person thought someone might have been trapped in the trunk of the car. Grady said it turned out to be a malfunctioning locking mechanism.
  • A person reported seeing a door open at the Beth El preschool at 10:25 p.m. Responding officers found nothing suspicious.
