Rollover Accident Hospitalizes 2 in Sudbury

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A call to the Sudbury Police Department early Monday afternoon resulted in two people needing medical attention.

According to Sgt. James Espinosa, the call came in just after 12:15 p.m. from someone who reported one car rolled over on Concord Road.

When officers responded to the scene, they noticed one car had crashed into a utility pole. The pole was damaged with wires strewn across the road, forcing police to shut the road down while NSTAR fixed the pole.

Espinosa said two people in the car, including a minor who was driving the vehicle, were transported to Emerson Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No citations were issued as of Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to a second accident later in the day that sent one person to the hospital.

According to Espinosa, officers responded to a two-car accident at about 3:12 p.m. on Powdermill Road. One car was towed.

The person hospitalized suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, Sudbury police were called to just one accident that was storm-related.

No injuries were reported in a two-car accident near the intersection of Boston Post and Horse Pond roads at 6:36 p.m.
