Slippery Road Conditions Lead to 6 Accidents in Sudbury on Dec. 10

Another snowstorm predicted to hit area this weekend.

Although winter hasn't officially started, a couple of small snowstorms have already left an impact in Sudbury this month.

On Dec. 10, the Sudbury Police Department reported six motor vehicle accidents in town, all weather-related according to Lt. Robert Grady:

  • 2:54 p.m., Horse Pond Road, car vs. pole, no injuries, car towed;
  • 2:58 p.m., Old County Road, one-car accident, no injuries, car towed;
  • 3:07 p.m., Old Lancaster Road, one-car accident, no injuries, car towed;
  • 3:15 p.m., Old County Road, two-car accident, no injuries, both cars towed;
  • 3:26 p.m., Landham Road, two-car accident, no injuries, no tows;
  • 5 p.m., Boston Post Road, car vs. pole, no injuries, car towed.
Sudbury police could be in for another busy day or two this weekend as another storm is predicted to hit the area.

According to WHDH, a large swath of Massachusetts, including Sudbury, could see up to 9 inches of snow.

Temperatures are not expected to warm that much afterward, with highs in the upper 20s to mid 30s leading into the middle of next week.
