Sudbury Man Arrested on Drug Charges, Warrant

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Sudbury Police Department was made aware of an arrest warrant on Aug. 13 for a local man and wound up booking him on two other charges.

According to Chief Scott Nix, officers were dispatched to the home of Jeffrey J. McKinnon, 41, of 47 Old Meadow Road to execute the arrest warrant. Nix said the warrant was for multiple motor vehicle charges.

Upon arriving, McKinnon came out of his house and was taken into custody.

During the investigation, officers found several pills on McKinnon, Nix said.

After being transported to the station for his booking, McKinnon's wife arrived with a prescription for one type of pill her husband had on him. Nix said there were two other types of pills that she did not have a prescription for.

McKinnon was charged with possession of a class C substance (Lorazepam) and possession of a class E substance (Alprazolam).

McKinnon was bailed out later that night and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Aug. 14.
