Sudbury Neighborhood Hit with Rash of Car Breaks

Detectives investigating 19 car breaks.

Numerous residents living in the Pine Lake neighborhood of Sudbury reported their cars were broken in to between Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, Sudbury detectives are investigating 19 separate car breaks in the neighborhood off Dutton Road.

"I suspect there could be more between and now and when people come home from work," Grady said Tuesday afternoon. "Mostly cash and change have been reported stolen."

None of the reported breaks were a result of forced entry.

"I can’t implore people enough to just lock their doors," Grady said. "No matter where you live, there are still influences that can cause problems like this."

Grady is asking if anyone saw anything suspicious during the reported time period to call Sudbury detectives at 978-443-1044.
