Sudbury Police Log: Two Accidents and Fraud Reported

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two accidents occurred on Boston Post Road on April 25. The first was reported at 6:43 a.m. after a car hit a tree near the Marlborough line. The driver was taken to Marlborough Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A second accident occurred just before 4:15 p.m., when two cars collided on Boston Post Road near the Shaws plaza. Two people had minor injuries, and one driver was taken to Emerson Hospital for treatment.

Also on April 25, a Sudbury resident reported fraud. The resident, trying to rent a beach house, received a check in the mail for more than agreed upon, said Sudbury Police Lt. Scott Nix. The sender asked the resident to send back the difference, which the resident recognized as a scam and alerted police to.
