Sudbury Police Release ID of Victim in Fatal Crash
Maynard man was pronounced dead at Emerson Hospital.
The identity of the motorist who died in a one-car crash on Halloween morning was released by the Sudbury Police Department on Nov. 5.
According to Lt. Robert Grady, Daniel F. Donovan, 68, of 113 Parker St. in Maynard, was the lone occupant during the crash.
The identity of Donovan was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The accident occurred on Maynard Road at about 11:20 a.m. on Oct. 31 when Donovan veered off the road and struck a tree.
He was taken to Emerson Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Grady said.
The State Police Reconstruction Unit was notified and responded to the scene to assist in the investigation.
