Sudbury Police Warn Residents of Failed Housebreak from Saturday

Male subject allegedly tried to enter a second-floor window of a Maynard Farm Circle home.

The Sudbury Police Department is asking residents for assistance in identifying a white male wanted in connection with an attempted housebreak from Saturday night.

According to Lt. Scott Nix, the department received a 911 call at approximately 9:07 p.m. regarding someone trying to enter a Maynard Farm Circle residence via a second-floor window by climbing a ladder.

According to Nix, the male subject wanted in this case is white, in his late teens, with short, light-colored hair, and a slim build. He was seen wearing a white shirt, possibly Polo.

"A search of the area by officers and a Framingham K9 unit yielded negative results," Nix said in a release. "The scene was processed for physical evidence. The investigation initially focused on a subject given information provided by the residents but to this point that subject has been ruled out. Given this development we wanted residents to be aware of the circumstances and request if anyone has information that may be of assistance please contact the Sudbury Police Department Detectives at 978-443-1042."

The incident remains under investigation.

"Patrols remain vigilant in monitoring their sectors," Nix said.
