Sudbury Woman Accused of Stealing Jewelry from Employer

A Sudbury woman is facing multiple charges after she was accused of larceny from her employer in Wayland.

According to Wayland police, Melissa Rosenberg, 30, of 192 Boston Post Road, allegedly stole gold earrings, a necklace and other items worth thousands of dollars from Michelle's Jewelry Boutique in Wayland to pay off a drug debt.

Wayland police said Rosenberg was also found to have a Suboxone, a class C drug, in her possession while being booked.

Wayland police said the owner of the Boston Post Road boutique noticed the missing pieces of jewelry.

Rosenberg faces charges of larceny over $250 and possession of the class C drug, which is used to treat opioid addiction.

She was arraigned at Framingham District Court on Thursday.
