Sudbury Woman Arrested on Domestic Assault Charge

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Sudbury Police Department assisted Maynard police in a domestic case on Saturday.

According to Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady, an altercation between a female from Sudbury and a man occurred in Maynard at about 5:19 p.m.

After an investigation was completed and Maynard police found probably cause, Sudbury police arrested Nicolette Cogborn, 21, of 53 Boston Post Road, at about 10:12 p.m.

Maynard police are charging her with domestic assault and battery.

Cogborn was scheduled to be arraigned at Concord District Court on Monday.

Earlier Saturday, Sudbury police made an arrest on Concord Road after receiving a report of an erratic driver.

David M. Armistead, 55, of 10 Briant Drive in Sudbury, was pulled over at about 4:37 p.m.

After the responding officer completed an investigation, he was arrested and charged with:

  • Operating under the influence of liquor;
  • Drinking alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle;
  • Marked lanes violation.

He was scheduled to be arraigned Monday at Framingham District Court.

Sudbury police are also investigating a spree of breaking and entries of multiple businesses at the Wayside Plaza on Sunday.

According to Grady, cash and possibly a laptop computer were allegedly stolen.
