VIDEO: Car Stuck on Willis Lake Pulled Out

Sudbury police say two local residents drove the car onto the lake around midnight.

It took nearly 17 hours, but the car that was stuck on Willis Lake is finally out.

It took two towing machines to get the white sedan out of the frozen lake. One of the machines was partially submerged from earlier attempts.

Two occupants, both Sudbury residents, a male and female, were taken to Emerson Hospital for precautionary reasons, Sudbury Police Lt. Scott Nix said.
