Waltham Man Faces License Charge in Sudbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Sept. 22 resulted in the arrest of a Waltham man.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, an officer on patrol on Boston Post Road pulled over a motorist just before 1:30 a.m. for allegedly speeding.

After the officer completed an investigation, Derick Chilin, 25, of 71 Brown St., Apt. 2, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

He was released at 4:38 a.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Sept. 23.

In other police news from Sept. 22:

  • A Chanticleer Road resident was reported missing at 11 a.m. According to Grady, the elderly resident reported missing had gone for a walk and was found about an hour later.
  • A female resident on Wayside Inn Road reported a domestic dispute with her ex-boyfriend. The ex-boyfriend left the scene before officers arrived, but a restraining order was granted later in the day. No arrests were made.
