Are You Concerned About Too Much Keno in Sudbury?

One Patch reader wrote that "the Keno dam is broken" in Sudbury. Do you agree?

Is there going to be too much Keno in Sudbury? The Massachusetts State Lottery's game is finding its way into more locations in Sudbury and around the state, and it's something that has people on Sudbury Patch talking.

Patch reader JON999 posted on the Sudbury Patch boards an entry called "No to Keno gambling in Sudbury." During his post, JON999 writes that "the Keno dam is broken" and "the Keno wave is coming to Sudbury."

JON999 writes that he believes the town "rolled over" when it comes to the Lavender Keno application, and as a result other businesses believe they will be successful in bringing the game to Sudbury.

"Do you care about your town and community?," JON999 wrote. "Want to live in a quiet, small town and raise your family in peace? Too bad. The state has other ideas. Ask your Selectmen what he/she thinks of Keno next time you see him/her. If the Rte. 20 sewer goes in, expect much more of this nonsense!"

What is your take on the issue? Are you worried that Sudbury is going to become overrun by Keno establishments? Or do you think it's no big deal? Let us know in the comments section below.
