Newly elected officials are sworn in at the close of the Annual Town Meeting. I won't assume my position on the Board of Selectmen until after I'm sworn in at that time. The elected Boards will proceed with their current membership until after Annual Town Meeting, which begins on Monday, May 5. I do plan to attend the Selectmen's meeting tomorrow as a citizen. Last year, in which the two new selectmen increasing the Board's membership to five were sworn in at a Selectmen's meeting was a special situation.

Thanks, Pat! I apologize. I did not know that as that is different than other towns I have covered in the past. I appreciate you bringing that to my attention. I will make the change in the article!
