Public Hearing Scheduled for Tree Removal for Walkway Construction

Hearing is scheduled for Friday, August 8.

Scott Taylor Sr, Sudbury's Tree Warden has announced a public hearing will take place on August 8 at 8 a.m. at the DPW's upper building.

The hearing is with regard to cutting down and moving trees located at Powdermill Road from North Road to Singing Hill Circle, and Tavern Circle to Cranberry Circle. The trees are being removed for walkway construction.

The number and types of trees slated to be removed are as follows:

North Road  to Singing Hill Circle

  • One Maple tree
  • Nine Oak trees
  • Two Pine trees
  • Four Beech trees

Tavern Circle  to Cranberry Circle

  • Five Oak trees
  • Three Pine trees
