Registration Ongoing for Sudbury's June Special Election

Sudbury's Special Election has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 24.

Sudbury residents just went to the polls earlier this spring for Annual Town Election, but soon they'll be asked to do the same as a Special Town Election has been called.

As a result, voter registration is currently available for the June 24 election, which was approved by selectmen during their Tuesday night meeting.

The Special Election will ask voters if they approve of an exclusion in order to purchase a Fire Department ambulance and fire engine, as related to Article 15 of Annual Town Meeting.

Anyone who is not registered, or who wishes to change their voter registration must do so by Wednesday, June 4.

Registration can be done at the Town Clerk's office, or by mail by picking up registration forms at the Goodnow Library, Post Office or Town Clerk's Office.

In addition, a special voter registration session will take place at the Town Clerk's office on Wednesday, June 4, from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
