Selectmen to Decide Fate of Sierra's Liquor License, Vote on Featherland Improvement Plans

Sudbury's Board of Selectmen holds a rare Wednesday meeting at 7:30 p.m.

Due to Tuesday's Special Town Election, the Sudbury Board of Selectmen is holding a rare Wednesday meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m. inside Lower Town Hall.

After opening remarks and reports from the Town Manager and selectmen, a public hearing is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. This will be a discussion to determine whether or not the board should suspend, revoke, or modify the terms of the All Alcohol Beverage License held by Sierra's on North Road.

At a previous meeting selectmen discussed the restaurant, which has fallen behind in its taxes.

Another public hearing is slated for 8:10 p.m., this one to consider the application of Bullfinch's Restaurant. The Boston Post Road restaurant seeks a special outdoor entertainment permit to hold weeknight soft jazz performances on July 23, August 20 and September 17.

Board members will then discuss the agreement between the Town of Sudbury and Lincoln-Sudbury Youth Baseball related to a gift made by the organization to make improvements at Upper Featherland Field.

Under miscellaneous business, selectmen will vote on whether to designate Len Simon as a replacement for Chuck Woodard on the Fairbank Study Committee.
