Selectmen to Discuss Nixon Roof Project, Police Station Site Plan on Tuesday

Sudbury's Board of Selectmen meets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday inside Lower Town Hall.

Several key items are on the agenda for Tuesday night's Board of Selectmen meeting, which will be held inside Lower Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.

After opening remarks, reports and public comments, selectmen will be asked to vote to sign off on the authorization of a building project in town.

The authorization would allow Sudbury Public Schools to submit a Statement of Interest to the Massachusetts School Building Authority, seeking funding for a roof replacement, window replacement, exterior door replacement, and envelope caulking replacement at Nixon Elementary School.

Following that discussion, a public hearing will take place around 8 p.m. Board members will consider the Police Station Site Plan application, which would allow the town to build a new Police Headquarters at 77 Hudson Road.

An affirmative vote by selectmen would approve the draft decision for the project.

Among the other agenda items is the official resignation of Elizabeth Quirk, who is stepping down from the Zoning Board of Appeals.
