Sudbury Accepting Bids for Cell Phone Tower at DPW Facility

Bids will be received until July 21 at 2 p.m. when they will be opened and read out loud.

The town will be having a new cell tower installed at the Department of Public Works facility on Old Lancaster Road, and over the next several weeks officials will be accepting sealed bids for the cost of the work.

Bids for the installation of a Wireless Communication Facility will be accepted at the Board of Selectman's office on Old Sudbury Road.

Potential candidates have until July 21 at 2 p.m., when the bids will be opened and read out loud in a public manner.

Requests for proposal can be obtained by candidates at the Board of Selectmen office Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

"The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, wholly or in part, and to accept any proposal or part thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the Town," the town wrote on its website.
