LSRHS School Committee Names New Superintendent and Principal

The Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School Committee made the decision unanimously.

Bella Wong can remove the "interim" from her job title.

The Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School Committee announced this week that it voted unanimously to appoint Wong as Superintendent and Principal on a three-year contract that went into effect on July 1.

Wong held the title on an interim basis, and received positive reviews from the School Committee after her performance in the previous school year.

Prior to being named Interim Superintendent and Principal, Wong spend five years as Superintendent and six years as Assistant Superintendent at Wellesley Public Schools.

According to the School Committee, Wong began her career at Lincoln-Sudbury as a biology teacher, science department coordinator and presidents of the Teachers' Association.

"We are delighted with Ms. Wong's appointment as Superintendent/Principal," said Radha Gargeya, Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School Committee chairman in a statement.. "Bella's dedication to improving student outcomes, unwavering commitment to the District's core values, and demonstrated leadership in effecting positive change within the school building will ensure that our students continue to receive a rigorous and purposeful education during their time at L-S."
