Sudbury Mobil Makes Donation to Curtis Middle School

Tony Lakkis presented $500 to help upgrade the school's technology.

Ephraim Curtis Middle School was awarded the 2012 Educational Alliance Grant of $500 by Exxon Mobil/Global Companies.  Tony Lakkis, manager of Sudbury Mobil, submitted the donation paperwork on behalf of the middle school.

Lakkis presented the check to Principal Stephen Lambert. 

"We are grateful to the Exxon Mobil Corporation and to Tony Lakkis from Sudbury Mobil, for the generous donation that is given to us every year that we use to advance our math and science programs," Lambert told Sudbury Patch.

The donation will be used to upgrade technology in the middle school to support the math and science programs. 

"We are so fortunate to work in a community that values and supports the education of its youth," Lambert said.
