Sudbury Public Schools METCO Director Resigns

Superintendent of Schools Anne Wilson said the search for the next METCO Director will begin shortly.

Sudbury Superintendent of Schools Anne Wilson announced this week that the district's METCO Director has resigned from her position.

In an email to Sudbury Public Schools parents on Monday, Wilson said that Janine Dailey resigned from her position for personal reasons.

"On behalf of the Sudbury Public Schools, I wish to thank Ms. Dailey for her contributions to the METCO program and wish her well in future pursuits," Wilson wrote in the email.

Wilson added that during the time of transition, Assistant Superintendent of Schools Kim Swain will be the point person overseeing the summer programming and working with students and families involved in the METCO program.

The search for Dailey's replacement will begin in the near future, according to Wilson, who said she will share information on how families will be able to participate in the search.

Anyone with questions or concerns is encouraged to contact Swain at kim_swain@sudbury.k12.ma.us.
