The Sudbury Villagers Club is looking forward to another good season with its opening Social on Thursday, September 6th, at Sudbury's Goodnow Library's Community Room at 9:30am.
This meeting is just a social where the plans for the year will be presented; most of the subsequent monthly meetings feature great speakers but September is devoted to meeting prospective members and renewing friendships after the long summer break.
The club plans interesting programs at their meetings, usually at the Goodnow Library on the first Thursday of each month. The club also sponsors various functions, such as, a Fall Frolic, a Holiday Party in January, an Annual Spring High Tea and a Spring Luncheon typically concludes the social year. In addition, the club works at various local Blood Drives, bakes Pies for the 4th of July sale at Hosmer House for their art preservation progam, collects holiday and spring presents for the area needy, visits Museums, schedules Theater and Bridge parties, helps with Blood Drives, sponsors a year-long Marathon Bridge group, as well as, a very active Book Browsers season. The club also donates generously to local worthy causes.

The monthly meetings are open to the public and we especially invite women who would like to know more about our club to join us to learn more about our club by attending our opening meeting. The meetings are usually held at the Goodnow Library which is located at 21 Concord Road, just off the Boston Post Road (US Rte #20) near Sudbury's business center with ample parking in the rear.
