It was an emotional day at the first Boston Marathon run since the 2013 bombings that claimed the lives of three people.
Monday was an emotional day at the Boston Marathon, with massive crowds of runners, volunteers, and spectators alike. And right in the middle of it was a large group of Sudbury residents.
Below is a list of the times recorded during the 2014 Boston Marathon by Sudbury residents, according to the Boston Athletic Association website as of 8:40 p.m. on Monday night.
Among the finishers were Jeff Merritt and Felicia O'Brien, who each finished at the exact same time of 3 hours, 32 minutes and 15 seconds. That was good for 10,005th and 10,006th overall.
