Count Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School Athletic Director Nancy O'Neil as a staunch supporter of the Boston Celtics' newest center, Shaquille O'Neal.
"With a name like that, you can't go wrong," O'Neil joked. "He's like my distant cousin!"
Well, this "distant cousin" may not be so distant if rumors about O'Neal's future home is true.
According to various reports, the former NBA champion and MVP is eyeing the home at 555 Concord Road in Sudbury. The listing agent for the property, Judy Barclay, of Barclay and Sampson Team 21 of Wellesley, said no new information on the property was available yesterday.
"There's nothing definitive," she said. "News about this has been leaked out prematurely."
According to the website Homes.com, the property is listed for $3,195,000. The 10,260 square-foot home is built on 5.7 acres and boasts six bedrooms, eight full baths and 2½ baths. The home also has a par-3 golf course, party house, guest house, a combined caretaker's apartment and four-car garage.
It was built in 1929, rebuilt in 1996 and updated in 2009.
