On a frigid night at Myers Field in Sudbury, the Lincoln-Sudbury football team started off cold against a fired up Westford Academy squad before taking control in a 38-14 victory on Friday night.
With the win, L-S improved to 8-0.
Westford moved the ball well in the first half, and took advantage of two Lincoln-Sudbury fumbles to take a 14-10 lead at the half.
A long kick return from Brian Carroll set the tone to start the second half, and the Warriors never looked back, scoring 28 unanswered points. Matt Cahill threw two long completions to Jack Harris that set up two scores, and Chris Giorgio had three touchdown runs to pace the Warriors.
