Lincoln-Sudbury Boys Hockey Eyes League Title

The Warriors sit atop the league standings and can do no worse than a share of the crown.

It's been a stellar season for the Lincoln-Sudbury boys hockey team so far. And with one more win, it could get even better.

The Warriors are currently on top of the Merrimack Valley/Dual County League Division II standings, and can do no worse than a share of the regular season crown.

When the locals drop the puck against Methuen on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. in the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, they will clinch sole possession of the league title.

Overall, the Warriors boast a mark of 11-1-4 and their only loss of the season was back on December 14 against Concord-Carlisle.

In Merrimack Valley/Dual County play, Lincoln-Sudbury has an impressive 9-1-1 record. The Warriors have outscored their league foes by a total of 44-23.

Following Wednesday's contest the team finishes off the regular season with tilts against Canton, Saugus and either Danvers or North Andover in the Newburyport Bank Ice Hockey Classic.
