UPDATED: L-S Football Team Earns 4 Seed in MIAA North Sectionals
Warriors take on fifth seed Lynn Classical on Nov. 1
The Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School football team was chosen as the No. 4 seed in the state's new playoff format and will host No. 5 Lynn Classical on Nov. 1 in the Division 1 North sectional qualifier.
Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
L-S earned the 4 seed with a 12.29 rating, but did not earn automatic qualifying status.
The automatic qualifiers were:
- Haverhill (15.47 rating)
- Reading (13.33)
- Waltham (12.67)
- Lynn Classical (11.00)
There will be six Super Bowl games in the new format, with all being played at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 7.
