With Season Winding Down, Several LS Teams Poised for Deep Playoff Runs

The baseball team and both Warrior lacrosse teams are ranked in the Top 10 in the state.

The regular season is winding down. But several Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School teams hope they have plenty of games to go on their schedule.

With the postseason approaching, several Warrior teams are poised for runs through their respective brackets. In particular, three local teams are ranked in the Top 10 of their sport by various media outlets.

Both of the LS lacrosse teams find themselves ranked among the Top 10 teams on both ESPNBoston.com and the Boston Globe.

As of last week's rankings, the boys lacrosse team was No. 8 according to the Boston Globe and No. 6 in the state in the ESPNBoston.com rankings.

The girls lacrosse team came in at No. 9 in the week's rankings according to the Boston Globe. ESPNBoston.com has not updated its girls lacrosse rankings so far this season.

On the diamond, the Lincoln-Sudbury baseball team is making waves and putting itself in consideration to be considered for the first ever Super 8 baseball tournament.

ESPNBoston.com ranks the Warriors as the No. 8 team in the state as of last week's rankings. The Boston Globe, meanwhile, has the locals as its No. 9 ranked team.
