12th Annual HOPEsudbury Telethon Slated for Nov. 2

Volunteers still needed for the popular fundraiser.

Sudbury's largest fundraising event is right around the corner.

The 12th annual HOPEsudbury Telethon and Auction will be held Nov. 2, from noon to 12 p.m., at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.

Last year's Telethon involved hundreds of community members of all ages, and HOPEsudbury is hoping to increase that number this year.

Volunteers are needed for all aspects of the event including production (camera work, lighting, sound etc.), talent coordination, auction solicitation and many other day-of-event activities. To volunteer in any capacity, email Anne-Marie Greenberg at Ams410@aol.com.

All sign up forms are available at hopesudbury.org.

The bulk of the funds raised support The HOPE Fund, which provides one-time emergency financial support for Sudbury residents who have fallen on hard times. The HOPE Fund has distributed more than $327,000 to Sudbury residents since 2002.
