Would rate as a 5, but the Inn doesn't cater to specific requests well. The food is generally very good and the service prompt and helpful.

I agree! This place is fantastic. Great staff and food. The grounds are a pleasure to experience. Really makes me look forward to the times we go. I recommend everyone visits at least once.

Absolutely love the Wayside Inn. Th food is superb, the atmosphere is excellent and the customer service is incredible. While I have not been to the Inn recently, the last several times I was there I was greeted by a friendly and always happy woman at the desk named Sue W. Both times I was there she made sure me and my party were seated promptly and had the best service possible. She even checked in on us during our lunch. Her warm demeanor and fun personality made our visits to the Wayside Inn that much more enjoyable. I hope Sue is still there and that she has been recognized for her service. We look forward to another superb visit to Sue and the Wayside Inn soon!

We love the Wayside Inn. The food is always good. The tavern is a real step back in time. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is great. What is nice is the Wayside Inn is also great all year long. Winter time with the fireplaces to Summer with the gardens.

Wayside Inn is one of our favorites!

What many people don't know is that the Inn is open for breakfast. from 7a until 10a. This is a particularly wonderful way to start your day, with the peaceful atmosphere, excellent food, and inexpensive prices. Substitute their wonderful corn or pumpkin muffins for toast! Your entree comes garnished with melon, strawberry, and orange slices. We love the Wayside Inn for breakfast!

(And we love the Wayside Inn for prime rib dinner, too! Best prime rib around!)
