Board of Selectmen Approve Extending Insurance Coverage

Possible use for Melone property on Route 117 also discussed.

In a unanimous decision, the Board of Selectmen voted to extend insurance coverage for some adult dependents of town employees whose coverage is due to expire soon, saying the decision to approve such coverage offers a measure of relief to affected families. In the Tuesday night board meeting, Sudbury Town Manager Maureen Valente initiated the move in her opening remarks to the board, urging members to take quick action in "grandfathering" some 24 adult dependents whose insurance would lapse for an eight-month period between November and July.
