This week's spotlight is on Bonnie's Bootcamp. Founded by Sudbury resident Bonnie Morrissey, Bonnie's Bootcamp is an exercise program offering 45-minute strength and cardio training for students of all ages and skill levels. Bootcamp Workout in Sudbury to Support Ovarian Cancer Research

Annual fundraiser is set for Sept. 25.

The 3rd annual Bonnie’s Bootcamp Workout to support Ovarian Cancer Research, in memory of Marlene Kittredge, Bonnie’s mom, is set for Sunday, Sept. 25.  The event will take place at Haskell Field at 8 a.m., and the rain location will be The Field House, 31 Union Ave. All of the money raised from this fundraiser will go directly to Bonnie’s mom’s doctor, Dr. Franco Muggia, the Director of Oncology at NYU, to further his research of ovarian cancer. Bonnie’s mom died in November 2008, at the age of 66 from ovarian cancer. Bonnie’s Bootcamp was created as a way for Bonnie to positively channel her grief, and this fundraiser is an everlasting tribute to her memory.  Last year’s event raised more than $25,000 for ovarian cancer research, and …
