Sudbury Resident Helps Present Donate Life Award
Bob Canfield has a personal bond with organ donation efforts.
Bob Canfield of Sudbury, a volunteer with New England Organ Bank, recently was one of the presenters of the Donate Life Champion award for outstanding support of organ tissue donation. Canfield has volunteered with NEOB ever since his wife became and organ donor after her passing. This year, NEOB recognized Jay Heaps for his efforts and presented the New England Revolution coach with the award. The award, in its inaugural year, is given to select members of the athletic community across the country who have inspired others to give the gifts of life, sight and mobility.
