A Dutton Road resident returned home on Tuesday night to find a rear window broken and numerous items missing, Lt. Scott Nix of the Sudbury Police Department said. Officers were dispatched to the residence at about 6:18 p.m. Nix said they cleared the home in case a possible suspect was found. No one was found, but numerous items that were missing were recorded. They include: Nix said the value of the missing items likely is in the thousands. Nix is asking the public to be diligent if anyone notices suspicious people or vehicles in their neighborhoods. "There's been several of these incidents lately," he said. "We're asking people to call the police if they observe suspicious activity to help us in our investigation."

Sudbury residents have reported to the Sudbury Police Department four more cases of larceny over the last few days. According to Lt. Robert Grady, a resident on Bent Road reported Thursday morning power tools were alleged stolen from the premises. An estimated amount of the tools was not available. On Wednesday, a member of Bosse Sports said an unknown amount of cash and credit cards were allegedly stolen from an unlocked locker, and a resident on Beechwood Avenue reported an unknown amount of cash was missing from the premises. Grady said there was no sign of forced entry at the Beechwood Avenue home. On Tuesday, someone reported a statuette was missing from a grave site at Old Towne Cemetery on Concord Road. A resident at 83 Carriage Way reported to the Sudbury Police Department that the residence had been broken in to and personal items were stolen, Lt. Scott Nix said. The homeowner told police he discovered late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning a "substantial amount of jewelry" and a computer were taken from the single-family home, Nix said. An estimated amount of what was taken was not available. Nix said the department is investigating. Also on Wednesday, a resident on Mossman Road reported a car damaged a stone wall on the property at about 9:50 a.m.

A Dutton Road resident returning home on Tuesday noticed the residence had been broken in to, according to Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady. Grady also said the resident reported items from within the home were stolen, but couldn't give more details because the case is under investigation. The breaking and entering is the second to be reported in Sudbury this week. On Monday, a resident on Hudson Road reported laptop computers and jewelry were stolen from the home, which had also been broken in to. That investigation is also ongoing. Sudbury police log.
The Sudbury Police Department is investigating a report of larceny on Hudson Road. According to Sudbury police, the investigation involves breaking and entering of the home and larceny. Items allegedly stolen from the home include multiple laptop computers and jewelry. Because the investigation is ongoing, Sudbury police would not release any other information. Also Monday, the Sudbury Police Department issued five citations for various motor vehicle violations.

A cab driver making a stop in Sudbury Monday morning reported to the Sudbury Police Department he noticed his wallet was missing after dropping off a fare on Boston Post Road. The cab driver told police he believed the fare he dropped off took the wallet. The alleged larceny was reported at 7:22 a.m. According to Lt. Robert Grady, the case is under investigation and no other information was available. Also on Monday, Sudbury police issued 17 tickets for various motor vehicle violations and one parking violation on Sawmill Lane at 11:13 a.m.
