OMGPD: Alert Neighbor or Noisy Housekeeper? And More

Never mind On the evening of June 27, a woman called Wayland Police to report that a party was going on at her neighbor's house. The problem? Her neighbor wasn't home. Embezzlement on auto-pay? The ex-treasurer of two Acton Cub Scout Packs, has been accused of stealing thousands of dollars from both Packs along with a separate accusation of stealing from an Acton nonprofit. Sudbury Resident Reports Stolen Jewelry

A Sudbury resident on Boston Post Road reported to the Sudbury Police Department numerous pieces of jewelry were stolen from her residence. The report came in to the department at about 11:48 a.m. on Monday. According to Sgt. John Harris, the estimated value of the jewelry is unknown and that the department is investigating the incident. Also Monday, a representative from Maurer, Inc., reported a front-end loader had been vandalized on North Road. According to Harris, someone put sand in the loader's gas tank, which occurred in December. No other information was available.

Sudbury Police Find Car Reported Stolen in Chicago

A disabled car found by the Sudbury Police Department turned out to be a car that was involved in a scam in Chicago, Sgt John Harris said. Harris said the car, which was recovered at about 4:15 p.m. on Saturday on the side of Boston Post Road, was originally reported stolen and was being investigated by the FBI. After further investigation, Harris said the car had actually been properly recovered. Sudbury police notified the FBI of the recovery and were expected to release the car to its proper owner Monday afternoon.

Sudbury Woman Faces OUI Charge

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Saturday night turned into an arrest of a Sudbury woman. At about 10:52 p.m., a Sudbury police officer noticed a car driving on Old Garrison Road with one of its lights out. After the responding officer pulled the car over and completed an investigation, Catherine T. Fairbairn, 57, of 112 Brimstone Lane, was arrested. Fairbairn is charged with: She was released Sunday at 1:02 a.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned Monday at Framingham District Court.

Lynn Man Faces Multiple Charges in Sudbury

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Thursday morning turned into an arrest for a Lynn man. At about 8:46 a.m., Sudbury police noticed a car on Hudson Road going in excess of the posted speed limit. After the responding officer pulled over the car and completed and investigation, Elio Quinonez Estrada, 36, of 1 Phillips Ave., was arrested. Estrada is charged with speeding and driving without a license. He was released at 10:55 a.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned Friday at Framingham District Court. No other information was available.

Hudson Woman Faces OUI Charge in Sudbury

According to the Sudbury police log, an accident Sunday night turned into an arrest for a Hudson woman. At about 8:49 p.m., Sudbury police responded to an accident on Old Lancaster Road. After the responding officer completed an investigation, Margaret M. Mullen, 64, of 3 Sauta Farm Way was arrested. Mullen is charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and a marked lanes violation. She was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at Framingham District Court. No other information was available.

Accident at Lincoln-Sudbury Parking Lot Reported

According to the Sudbury Police Department, a car and school bus collided in the parking lot of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School Monday afternoon. The accident, which was reported to Sudbury police at about 4:26 p.m., did not result in any injuries. Lt. Scott Nix said the bus was empty at the time of the collision. Earlier in the day, Sudbury police received a call regarding vandalism at Nixon Elementary School. Nix said chalk graffiti was observed and the case is under investigation. Wayland Man Arrested in Sudbury on Outstanding Warrant

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department Sunday night  resulted in an arrest of a Wayland man. At about 8:14 p.m., Mouldi Sayeh, 57, of 237 Glezen Lane, was pulled over on Boston Post Road. After the responding officer completed an investigation, Sayeh was arrested. According to Lt. Scott Nix, the investigation found Sayeh had a warrant out for his arrest from Boston District Court on charges of identification fraud and attempting to commit a crime. Sayeh was taken to Framingham District Court Monday morning for his arraignment. No other information was available. Wayland Resident Faces OUI Charge in Sudbury

A witness who called the Sudbury Police Department Thursday afternoon aided in the arrest of a Wayland resident. According to Lt. Robert Grady, the department dispatched an officer to Landham Road at about 3:19 p.m. after receiving a call about an alleged drunken driver. The responding officer found the driver with the car on the side of the road. After completing an investigation, the officer arrested Vadim Ivanov, 22, of 36 Woodland Road. Ivanov was charged with operating under the influence of liquor. Sudbury police had the car towed. Ivanov was released at 6:14 p.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Friday. No other information was available.
