Lincoln-Sudbury's Denormandie Ready to Resume Season with Revolution
Revolution youth preparing for second year in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Lincoln-Sudbury great Cole Denormandie is set to continue his second season as a member of the New England Revolution youth development program on Saturday, March 5, at Gillette Stadium. During the 2009-10 season with the Revolution Under-16 team, Denormandie made 28 appearances – including 25 starts – as a midfielder. Finishing the regular season with a 14-7-8 record, the Revs advanced to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy playoffs in Browns Summit, N.C. Naturally a forward, the Lincoln native was frequently deployed on the wings for the Revolution. And despite his new position, Denormandie scored 10 goals and registered three assists.
