Half Day for Sudbury Public Schools
Lincoln-Sudbury closing at 1:20 p.m.
The first of a one-two winter punch that is expected to drop up to 20 inches of snow on Sudbury by Thursday morning has forced Sudbury Public Schools Superintendent John Brackett to issue an early release today. "Due to the pending snow accumulation throughout today, we will operating on an early release schedule today," Brackett said in a released statement. "Schools will be dismissed at the typical early release/ILAP times. There will be no (afternoon) kindergarten." Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School will stay open a little longer, closing at 1:20 p.m., according to WCVB's website. The weather may also affect local government meetings and town events. The First Sudbury Summer Camp Vendor Fair has been re-scheduled to Thursday, Feb. 3rd, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Fairbank Community Center Gym. Open to general public. Free.
