Sudbury Man Arrested on Warrant

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

David J. Poor, 39, of 10 Birchwood Ave., Sudbury, had a Warrant out for his arrest from the Marlborough District Court and was arrested by the Sudbury police on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 4:05 p.m. According to the Marlborough District Court, Poor had a Warrant for two matters – operating with a suspended license and a larceny over $250 under false pretense. No other information was available.

Woman Charged with OUI After Pulling Over on Rte. 20

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A Marlborough woman was arrested Monday, Aug. 20, around 1:16 a.m. on Rte. 20 near the intersection of Dudley Road, and charged with OUI liquor, police said. Several drivers reported to police seeing a car pulled over to the side of Rte. 20, said Sgt. Richard MacLean. Firefighters returning from a call stopped to check on the woman driver. She was initially unresponsive, but firefighters were able to get her attention, MacLean said. Police arrived, and after conducting field sobriety tests, arrested Brittany L. Deplitch, 23, of 10 Royal Crest Drive, Marlborough. She was charged with OUI liquor and violating marked lanes, police said.

Sudbury Police Log: Two Accidents and Fraud Reported

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two accidents occurred on Boston Post Road on April 25. The first was reported at 6:43 a.m. after a car hit a tree near the Marlborough line. The driver was taken to Marlborough Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A second accident occurred just before 4:15 p.m., when two cars collided on Boston Post Road near the Shaws plaza. Two people had minor injuries, and one driver was taken to Emerson Hospital for treatment. Also on April 25, a Sudbury resident reported fraud. The resident, trying to rent a beach house, received a check in the mail for more than agreed upon, said Sudbury Police Lt. Scott Nix. The sender asked the resident to send back the difference, which the resident recognized as a scam and alerted police to.

Man Allegedly Leads Police on High-Speed Chase, Bites Officer

A Marlborough man was arrested early Saturday, April 21, following a high-speed chase that passed through Sudbury and Wayland and ended in Worcester, where the man allegedly bit an officer, police said. Jason Leonard, 30, of 12 Avalon Drive, Apt. 17, Marlborough, was arrested in Worcester on multiple charges, including assault and battery on a police officer, assault with a dangerous weapon and OUI liquor, according to a report on Shrewsbury Patch. According to court records, Leonard bit Shrewsbury officer Chad Chysna during the course of his arrest. Sudbury Police Lt. Scott Nix said Leonard has also been charged by Sudbury police, after officers assisted in a high-speed chase that originated in Marlborough. Sudbury police were called to …

Connecticut Man Arrested in Sudbury After Using Car Without Permission

A Connecticut man was arrested in Sudbury on Friday, April 20, around 4:26 p.m. after a car was reported stolen, police said. Shawn D. Lussier, 36, of Saint James Row, Danielson, Conn., was charged with using a motor vehicle without authority after police say he took his girlfriend's car without permission, said Sudbury Police Lt. Scott Nix. Further investigation led to Lussier also being charged with domestic assault and battery, Nix said.

Sudbury, Marlborough Men Face OUI Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Thursday, Dec. 22 at 3:18 p.m., a Sudbury man was arrested on Concord Road. Alexander M. Sleczkowski, 18, of 70 Beechwood Ave., was charged with OUI liquor and failing to drive in the right lane, police said. On Saturday, Dec. 24 at 1:53 a.m., a Marlborough man was arrested on Boston Post Road West. Wiliam Fred Castanos, 38, of 285 Church St., was charged with OUI liquor, following too closely and violating marked lanes, police said. Sherborn Man Faces Charge of Violating Probation in Sudbury

According to Lt. Robert Grady, Sudbury police arrested a Sherborn man Friday in Sudbury after they were notified of a probation violation. John F. Sellew, 66, of 220 South Main St., was held without bail at the Sudbury police station over the weekend. He was expected to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Monday. Grady said Sellew was arrested without incident while eating at Oishii Sushi Bar. According to a Gatehouse report, Sellew was on probation after pleading guilty to child pornography charges last week. The report says Sellew violated his probation after turning off his GPA monitoring bracelet. Sudbury police are also investigation a report of credit card fraud from a Concord Road resident. Marlborough Resident Faces Resisting Arrest Charge

A Marlborough man faces multiple charges after being pulled over early Wednesday morning in Sudbury. Peter A. Moodley, 27, of 40 Bicknell St., was arrested at 2:48 a.m. and charged with resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating under the influence of liquor. Moodley was released at 5:08 a.m. On Tuesday, Sudbury police made 14 motor vehicle stops, but none were given citations in relation to the new texting law. Police also responded to three accidents:
