Tom Polcari wanted to show the Town of Sudbury his appreciation for making his new frozen yogurt shop a quick success. The T-WISTED Frozen Yogurt owner decided to donate 10 percent of his sales from last Thursday and Friday to HOPEsudbury, a local organization providing short term financial assistance to residents experiencing emergency unexpected needs. Polcari said on Tuesday his donation was $400. On Thursday HOPEsudbury members Marilyn Martino and Jill Stansky stopped in to try Sudbury's newest snack stop.

New Frozen Yogurt Shop in Sudbury Opening Tomorrow

Sudbury resident Tom Polcari is set to open his new business venture, T-WISTED Frozen Yogurt, tomorrow in the Rugged Bear Plaza. Patrons will be allowed in Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday from noon to 9 p.m., and Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. T-WISTED will offer 24 flavors, including low fat, no fat, gluten free, and no sugar added. There will also be more than 35 toppings, including fresh fruits, candies and chocolates. "I love frozen yogurt and I love the concept of self serve," he said in December. "It's a fun, family activity. I did a lot of research. When I came across this, it was an exciting place, very upbeat and family friendly." Sudbury residents yearning for a new twist in frozen treat selections won't have to wait much longer. Resident Tom Polcari, who worked as a travelling installer for a car wash company for 19 years, is opening T-WISTED Frozen Yogurt in January, a self-serve shop that will offer 50 flavors, numerous toppings and more to those who catering to their sweet tooth. Polcari's journey started about a year ago when he came across a lot in the Rugged Bear Plaza.
