Lincoln-Sudbury Wrestling Team Feels Holiday Tournament Hangover

After placing sixth in the Framingham Holiday Tournament, the Warriors lose two of three in their quad meet on Friday.

While their teammates may have felt it, Zach Smerlas and Nick Murphy showed no signs that they were in their third day of wrestling. L-S Golf Team Falls to Westford Academy in Downpour

Kraemer, Small play well in defeat for Warriors.

Heavy rain meant low scores for Lincoln-Sudbury golf team on Tuesday. Playing in a consistent and heavy downpour, the Warriors fell to Westford Academy 71-68 at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord. "With the rain and conditions, it was a tough day today," said L-S head golf coach Greg Gammons. "Good competitive athletes find a way to score when things are not ideal. We were not able to do that today and they were." The Warriors were led by senior captain Peter Kraemer, who topped all golfers with 14 points, using the Stableford scoring system. The senior started off strong with a par on the par-5 first hole and was steady throughout the match. "The rain helps me concentrate on each hole more than usual," said Kraemer.
