UPDATED: Sudbury Man Facing Attempted Murder Charge Held on $10K Bail

Police say he tried to suffocate his wife with a mattress.

UPDATED: 4:55 P.M. A Sudbury man is being held on $10,000 bail after police say he tried to kill his wife earlier on Tuesday. Kevin Ference, 62, of 12 Demarco Road, who was seen shaking and sobbing prior to his arraignment at Framingham District, is charged with: According to the prosecutor, police reported Ference's wife was visibly shaken after they were dispatched to the home at about 9:43 a.m. via a 911 call she made from one of the home's bathrooms. Both the bedroom and living room were in disarray, and Kevin Ference's hands, arms, nose and mouth were bloody, the prosecutor said. "After driving her children to school and walking their dog, she walked into the house and her husband asked for his property back," the proscutor explained…

@ Devils Advocate- I do agree with a few of your points. Yes any inanimate object can be used as a weapon. Well I wont comment about the popo- but I agree. I have to say- it does sound as though this man was blind with rage. Smothering someones face, putting your hands around their throat, shaking them , ripping out someones hair, he could have very easily killed her. I think its a very sad …   more ›
