Lincoln-Sudbury faces Somerville on Jan. 26 in the first round.
High School Quiz Show, WGBH’s Emmy-Award winning fast-paced academic game show, announced the taping schedule for the 2012 tournament bracket for the 16 Massachusetts public high school academic teams competing on season three of the show. Lincoln-Sudbury will take on Somerville in the first round, and taping is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 26, at 3:45 p.m. The show will aire March 3, at 6:30 p.m. on WGBH 2. WGBH’s award-winning academic show is hosted by Billy Costa. All shows are taped in front of a studio audience at WGBH, One Guest Street in Brighton. Sixteen Massachusetts public high school academic teams have advanced to compete on season four of High School Quiz Show, WGBH’s academic quiz show hosted by Billy Costa, premiering Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. on WGBH 2. The show’s production team announced the 16 schools on High School Quiz Show’s Facebook page earlier today. Teams qualified by earning top scores on “Super Sunday,” an event at which registered school teams each took an identical 100-question oral quiz at WGBH Studios in Brighton. High schools—and high schoolers—from around the commonwealth will come together today for Super Sunday, the qualifying round for High School Quiz Show on WGBH. Lincoln-Sudbury happens to be one of them.
