ReplyThere is a crosswalk on Hudson Road at the intersection of Crystal Lake Drive, Ronald Road and Hudson Road, but it is still very dangerous to cross the road there. If you are crossing from the Ronald Road side of Hudson Road, there is a telephone pole impeding the view of drivers approaching from the west. And if you are crossing from the Crystal Lake Drive side of the road, the drivers approaching from the east have trouble seeing you because their view is partially blocked by trees on their side of the road and the fact that they are coming around a relatively sharp curve. Given the speed and amount of traffic on this stretch of Hudson Road, I think the town should take another look at this particular intersection to ensure that drivers have a clear view -- and ample notice -- of this crosswalk from as far away as possible.
