Sudbury has more than 10 fields. I was not counting Feeley, the HS, Haskell, Curtis and who know how many more. But you get the picture how lopsided this sharing is.

Mr. Billig, please tell these young ladies from Lincoln their parents are not paying their fair share.
Do you know how much Sudbury contributed to the Lincoln Little League fields? Perhaps the deal was Lincoln will offer their 3 fields for Little League while Sudbury offers 10 fields. Could it be Lincoln has access to 13 fields for the price of 3?

ReplyThis is a bit on the bold side, but necessary. I'd like to see the partnership dissolved all together. It's unreasonable to believe the Sudbury taxpayers will continue to tolerate this injustice. Sudbury would probably save more in school funding without Lincoln just by consolidating the two school systems. If Lincoln is incapable of funding their own High School, Waltham High School has plenty of classroom space with plenty of diversity.

ReplyGood Post "Billy Blinks".
My "children" think it's cool when they hear gunfire. I do too. If you bought property close to a place that discharges firearms and you don't like it, move. If you bought a house near an airport and decided after you didn't like the noise from the airplanes, would you petition to have the airport closed? You can change your house, but you can't change your neighborhood.
