Moonstruck Theater Company Announces A New Musical Revue: SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!!
Framingham-based MOONSTRUCK THEATER COMPANY, in association with Amazing Things Art Center, is pleased to present SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!!, opening Friday, July 18, and running for four performances through July 20. Performances will take place at Amazing Things Art Center, 160 Hollis St., Framingham, MA.
SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!! is an original musical revue about putting on a musical revue, featuring songs from all of your favorite Broadway shows and Hollywood films. Musicals featured include Moulin Rouge, Anything Goes, Wicked, West Side Story, Hairspray, Pippin, The Producers, Mamma Mia, Les Miserables, and Frozen--and many more!

The production features 20 performers from the Boston and MetroWest regions, including Nancy and Sara Kimble of Sudbury.
The show features Sudbury residents Nancy and Sara Kimble singing a duet version of “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables as well as performing in the ensemble dance numbers. On why they auditioned for the show, Nancy says “My daughter Sara and I were looking for a fun musical to do together this summer, and we were attracted by the title “Spectacular! Spectacular!” since that is one of our favorite songs from Moulin Rouge!” Nancy has been involved with theater since high school, with her favorite production being Seussical “because I had the chance to perform onstage with two of my daughters.”

Of SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR!!!, Nancy’s talented daughter Sara says “This show is not like many others in the sense that it was developed and written from the creativity of the Moonstruck community, and it evolved with the cast. The producers built off the talent and skills of the cast members, so everyone’s strengths are highlighted. This show gives a new and exciting spin to musicals, so you should definitely come see it to get a taste of all your classic favorite musicals!” Sara is a rising junior at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School, where she sings in the choir and numerous a cappella groups.
The show is directed by Matthew Sherman and music directed by Samantha Prindiville. The production will be presented at Amazing Things Art Center, Framingham, MA.
Tickets are $25 for general admission, $24 for senior citizens and students, $22 for Amazing Things Members, and $13 for children 12 and under.
