BOS to Discuss Business' Tax Delinquency, Special Election on Tuesday

Tuesday night's meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. inside Lower Town Hall.

The Sudbury Board of Selectmen will get to work on Tuesday with a meeting that will include its newest member, Pat Brown, who was elected this spring.

Tuesday night's meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and takes place inside Lower Town Hall.

Among the items on the agenda is a vote on whether the town should call a Special Town Election on Tuesday, June 24. The election would be to place the capital exclusion ballot question regarding the purchase of a Fire Department ambulance and fire engine.

This item is related to Article 15, which was discussed at Annual Town Meeting earlier this month.

Later in the evening, the Board of Selectmen will meet with Town Finance Director Andrea Terkelsen, who will update members on tax delinquency with Sierra's Restaurant.

Board members will potentially vote to terminate Sudbury's Intermunicipal Agreement with the Town of Wayland, effective July 31.

Sudbury Police Chief Scott Nix will be in attendance at about 9 p.m. to discuss new Police Department initiatives.
